Structure-Agnostic Sourcing
Real estate data is traditionally maintained in a wide variety of systems and formats from CSVs in Property Management systems to JSON-based APIs and Excel files delivered over SFTP. VmX decomposes data from any format and delivery mechanism into a common "raw data" format for use in downstream processing.

Config-based Conformance
VmX uses a purpose-built, configuration-based data transformation engine to conform arbitrarily structured raw datasets to our Universal Data Model, allowing us to onboard commercial real estate data efficiently regardless of its origin.

Enterprise Data Warehousing
Fully-conformed datasets are captured in a formal Enterprise Data Warehouse based on the Data Vault modeling pattern for full auditability and compliance, then rendered into a Dimensional Data Mart for downstream reporting either directly or via a VmX-managed semantic model.

Centralized Access
VmX exposes centralized data directly via Snowflake Secure Shares and DAX-based APIs against our hosted semantic model for power users. Business users have direct access to our embedded PowerBI dashboards and data rendered directly in our proprietary web portal.

ORCHESTRATION
Data movement through the VmX platform is governed by a dedicated orchestration microservice that is observable by end users and configurable via VmX Workflows.

Data mapping and transformation is end-user configurable, and facilitated by a DBT-based microservice maintained by our data integration team.
DATA QUALITY
We have hundreds of automatic data quality checks designed by our SMEs that run on each new data load. Our DQ microservice is designed to build confidence in your real estate data at scale.
